Over 800 principals across the country participated in a candid survey that addressed questions from a broad range of topics. These topics include how they are managing safety and security, teacher morale, students with special needs and the impacts of ESSA on their schools and districts.
Key themes in 2019
Each year’s survey provides insights into the current mindset of principals across the country. Recent years have illuminated the struggles with implementing new standards, new technology, and new assessments. This year, principals are more optimistic about technology and adhering to higher standards.
